A small volume of Azerbaijan's natural gas is transported to Iran via the Baku-Astara pipeline. In exchange, Iran supplies Azerbaijani exclave Nakhchivan with gas. As of 2011 Iran was receiving a 15 percent commission on transit fees.[1]
