As of February 2012, two oil and gas fields in Ghana, Jubilee and Saltpond, were producing, with a combined production upwards of 80,000 barrels per day (bpd). Many additional wells have been found to have oil potential. Geoscience and engineering studies are continuing in some of the areas with discovered reserves to refine the potential resource range and to advance development planning activities.[1]
