Red Back Mining

Rad Back Mining was formed in 2003 after a merger between Red Back Mining NL of Australia and Champion Resources Inc of Canada. The Vancouver-based mineral resource company engages in operating, exploring, acquiring, and developing mineral properties in West Africa, specifically in Ghana and Mauritania. As of September 17, 2010, Red Back Mining operates as a subsidiary of Kinross Gold Corporation.
