Current Global Profile

Tatneft is is Russia's sixth-biggest crude oil producer.[2] Through its subsidiaries, engages in the exploration and production of crude oil. The bulk of its operations are in the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation, however the company also has projects in the Middle East, in Libya and Syria.

Upstream, the company had 840 million tons of proved crude oil and condensate reserves as of January 2011. Midstream, Tatneft refines and markets crude oil and refined products and manufactures and sells tyres. Downstream, it sells final energy products through its filling stations in Russia and the Ukraine. In addition the company also offers oilfield services such as pipeline and transport services, field studies, well workover and enhance oil recovery services.

Tatneft is listed on the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX).[1]
